Phiroze tells himself that he's a writer and comedian based on unsold pilots and UCB improv classes. Since he studied politics in college, but also knew deep down he couldn't win an election, he's taken it upon himself to write fiction set in that world.
When he’s not writing about fake elections, he’s covering real ones for major news networks.

Led a team of graphics designers to manage the visual component of the show, having editorial control over studio walls, full screens, topic bars, and pictures. Produced the Sunday Cold Open, setting the most important stories of the week to pictures and music, as well as the Sunday Photo of the Week segment.

Coordinated and served as an assistant for the SNL cast & weekly celebrity host. Juggled multiple requests from and served as the point person for the talent, script, and music teams. Led the timely seating of the studio floor, training audience services pages and checking in VIP guests of the show.
Pitched stories for the Late Show’s Meanwhile segment, transcribed interviews, and compiled a weekly comedic newsletter. Trained 15 interns and served as the point person for the Fall 2021 intern class. Coordinated the Late Show house band by setting up dressing rooms, handling paperwork, and escorting musicians.
Managed the Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts of the Indian news giant with over 14 million followers each. Wrote scripts and researched for primetime daily news shows including The Big Fight and Trending Tonight. Formulated daily news digests, compiled national & international twitter trends, and tracked the US general election
Developed a series bible with Min Jin Lee for a television show based on her book Free Food for Millionaires. Crafted plot summaries, detailed character arcs, season outlines and pitched music for the show
